Bruto Collection explores the encounter between two elemental materials: stone and glass. Carved from a solid block of natural stone, the base preserves its raw texture, while a sculpted arch introduces a sense of lightness and rhythm. Resting above it, a handcast glass surface appears almost liquid, as if gently deposited onto the stone, creating a striking contrast between permanence and transformation. The dialogue between the rough, ancient material and the luminous transparency of glass reveals one of the central themes of Lucas Recchia’s practice: the ability to transform opposing forces into a harmonious sculptural composition.
