In the Janelas Collection, Lucas Recchia combines the solidity of Brazilian stones, such as marble, granite, and quartzite, with the lightness of fused glass, using the same technique as in the Morfa collection. The dense and imposing sculpture of the stone contrasts with the transparent and organic glass, creating harmony between the heavy and the light.

The glass brings transparency and permeability, softening the rigidity of the stone, while the stone provides stability and weight. The result is pieces that, beyond being functional, visually explore the fluidity and interaction between seemingly opposite materials, highlighting lightness and transparency as central elements in Recchia’s design
